ANM - Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery

Who can apply?
AGE:
- Minimum 17 Years (As on or before 31st December)
- No maximum / Upper Age Limit as per INC Circular – 11/23 dated 21st August 2023.
EDUCATION
- Candidates should have passed in HSC Examination (10+2) with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at qualifying examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Board or Equivalent, with any Stream (Science/Arts/Commerce) and Vocational Stream.
- Students qualified in 10 +2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.
RESERVATIONS:
- It is mandatory to follow Indian Constitution Act for Reservation.
- For Disabled Candidates 5% Disability reservation is considered, with disability of locomotors with the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremities as per certified by Competent government authority.
- For Orphan candidates with 1% reservation (Competent authority certificate is must)
- 5% Relaxation for Reserved Category.
OTHER CRITERIA:
- Only Female candidates are eligible for this course.
- Students shall be Medically Fit.
- Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate is Mandatory.
Focus
This program is designed to train students in primary healthcare, maternal and child health, community health nursing, and health education. ANM graduates are equipped to provide basic nursing care and assist in community health initiatives.The Diploma Nursing course comprises of 2 years duration which includes Midwifery.Examination is taken at the end of each year for internship after which the students are eligible to get registration from Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai.
- The course is permitted by the Maharashtra Government, Maharashtra State Board of
- Nursing and Maharashtra Nursing Council, and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
